Public beta
All available Pro features are free for everyone during the beta, until our first commercial release. No payment required.
There is no checkout, trial countdown or automatic charge during beta. We will announce the first commercial release before introducing the one-time Pro purchase and optional paid Sync plans. Both require your explicit purchase. Ordinary updates do not end beta access.
Free local foundation
You can use Notidian locally without an account for:
- Notes, rich text, and drawing
- Files, folders, tags, and search
- Basic tasks and a local calendar
- Reading supported files and basic export
Local work stays in the workspace. Signing out or choosing not to use sync does not remove local notes.
Pro after beta
These are the prices for the first commercial release, not charges for using the beta:

Pro is not a subscription. The same €12 one-time price applies to everyone, including students; no student verification is required. Updates to the purchased application are included. This is not a promise of free separate future products or perpetual compatibility with every future device. Billing and paid licensing are not implemented yet.

Authentication, provider permissions and development/admin lab restrictions still apply. Opening Pro access does not make unfinished functionality available or include paid third-party services.
Managed sync storage
Sync is a separate optional service, available with Free or Pro. Pro does not include hosted storage. Each Sync plan provides its listed total capacity, not additional storage on top of another plan. The future paid capacities are not provisioned for beta. Sync remains experimental: keep an independent backup.
The server currently uses a 1 GiB fallback quota with per-account overrides. Check Settings → Sync for your actual limit. Local files are not limited by that cloud quota.
If you cancel Sync
Keep your purchased Pro tools, local files, free note editing and basic export. Pro does not expire or revert to Free when you cancel Sync. Your local files and saved configurations are not deleted. Cloud retention and download grace periods will be published before paid launch; cloud storage is not indefinite.
